Sam Sulek settled his own question with a shrug. Asked, in effect, whether he’s enhanced, his answer on camera was: “that should be pretty obvious. If anybody hasn’t gotten to that conclusion on their own from watching these videos then… yeesh.” He then turned pro in the IFBB’s untested league, where the question isn’t asked. We take the man at his word: confirmed, by his own it-should-be-obvious.

The timeline the shrug covers

Sulek was a competitive diver and gymnast who started lifting around 15 — a lean 160 lbs (72.5 kg) athlete in 2017. By 2019, around 183 lbs (83 kg): a strong but natural-shaped two-year start. Then the curve leaves the chart. By his 2023 Spring Bulk series he was around 230 lbs, and by the 2024 cut roughly 230 lbs (104 kg) at a lean 12% — about 202 lbs (91.5 kg) of fat-free mass at 5’11” (180 cm), FFMI 28.2, at age 22. Against his 2019 self that is roughly 60 lbs of lean tissue in five years, tail-loaded into ages 19-22 — several times the natural ceiling for those training years, ending three points past the drug-free FFMI limit. His current off-season reports run around 265 lbs (120 kg).

The honest context

Sulek never ran a natty grift — no claims, no test-waving, no supplement-attribution theater; when asked, he pointed at the videos. His actual on-camera formula (heavy, simple training; whole-food volume eating; total consistency) is real and mostly excellent advice for the natural teenagers watching — right up to the part where the physique it produced is not reachable by the program being shown. The gap between the two is why he’s on this site: two million kids watch the workouts; the body doing them runs on more than the workouts.

Verdict

Confirmed — by his own plain-enough words and his league of choice, over a growth curve that had already answered the question. The interesting part was never whether; it’s that he’s the first of his generation who didn’t bother pretending.

In their words

“that should be pretty obvious. If anybody hasn't gotten to that conclusion on their own from watching these videos then... yeesh.”
